Wendys World of Art

Wendy found her place in the world when she moved to Leadville, Colorado in late 2020 with her three delightful – their word – cats: Miss Clara Belle, and Frank and Alexander who are brothers otherwise know as the Goobers. As an avid outdoors person who loves the snow, the mountains and the peace that comes with a living in a small mountain town, the Leadville location and community feed her soul and revived her creativity.
Wendy finds inspiration in ordinary things. She repurposes items found outside – including in the back yard of her 133 year old home: bones, metal that has rusted over the years, broken glass and whatever else catches her eye as she wanders in the mountains. She then adds a bit of a colorful twist with modern media.
Wendy’s work is ever evolving. You can follow her journey, on Instagram @wendysworld.art, Facebook at WendysWorld art, and her web site, WendysWorld.art. She can be contacted directly at wendysworld.art.60@gmail.com. Any, and all. respectful comments are welcome!
